About

Who We Are

SavvyDog Design is a collaborative of highly successful creative, marketing and business professionals who decided to break away from the corporate world to form a more intimate, progressive company. Their goal? To deliver superior creative and marketing services to clients at sane and reasonable rates. Founded in 2002, SavvyDog’s team members take advantage of the amazing speed, interactivity and interoperability of the web and enjoy working from co-located offices around the country. Because we don’t depend solely on limited local resources, we are able to search out the best and brightest people and bring their exceptional expertise and skills to the SavvyDog Team. Our staffers have worked for companies like Disney, Hasbro, Real Networks, and Staples and have consulted and designed for companies like Dow, Kellogg’s, GM, American Standard, Gerber Foods, Virgin Records, the NFL and USA Today.

Good Stuff Cheap

Because of our virtual work environment, SavvyDog is able to keep our overhead and operational expenses to a minimum and these savings are passed on directly to our clients. We are also able to buy a lot more talent per dollar than other places because the money we do make goes directly to our staff and not to landlords or electric companies. Generally, our rates run a fraction of what traditional agencies offering similar quality services charge. We believe our clients should pay for superior creative, marketing and business services only, and not for rent, office furniture, utilities or Friday morning coffee and donuts.

You Matter Most

SavvyDog’s services are “Customer Care” focused, which means your satisfaction is our number one goal. To ensure we meet and exceed the expectations of our clients, we do exhaustive research on every project we take on and customize solutions to meet our clients’ needs. We plan and execute according to a pre-determined timeline and budget. We keep the client involved at every step, including getting advanced approval or offering alternatives in the case of unforeseen expenses during the course of a project. We guarantee our work after the conclusion of a project, too. We believe good Customer Care is all about building a relationship based on honesty and trust, so we’re committed to proving to you just how much value we place on your business every single time you choose to work with us.

Rules? We Don’t Need No Stinking Rules

marketing

“Often a ‘rule’ isn’t a rule at all; it’s just the way you’ve always done things.” – Jeff Haden, Inc. Online’s Owners’ Manual blog
Rules can be funny things. They can keep you out of trouble, keep you organized, keep you working efficiently and keep you doing things the way people expect them to be done. [...]

Get Over Yourself

marketing

I have to admit, it was the subject of the email that got me: “It’s Not About You Anymore.” I was almost a little bit offended, because anyone who knows me knows it’s ALWAYS about me (you’ll also know I am a big fan of sarcasm). But then, as usual, my curiosity got the better [...]

Temporary DNS Interruptions Today – Fixes Immenent

The web is an amazing place. Given its inherent complexities, it’s actually pretty amazing that it runs as flawlessly as it does as often as it does. That being said, it behooves us to remember that all this wonderful technological magic does depend on electrons and photos whizzing along silicon and fiberoptic highways unencumbered, and [...]
